Types of talqin and which of them is permissible
Question
How many types of talqin (prompting the testimony of faith) are there? Which talqin is permissible according to the Qur’an and hadith? We also have a custom that, after finishing the burial and so on, a celebration and the like is arranged right beside the grave, and some verses of the Qur’an are recited and [their reward] gifted. What is the ruling on this? — Ghazali of Malaysia.
Answer
