What the husband should do if his wife falls ill when he leaves on a journey

Question

A woman falls ill when her husband goes away on a journey. Is it necessary for the husband to take her along, or is it necessary for the husband not to go because of this excuse?

Answer

The husband may go on a journey because of his needs, even if his wife falls ill; but he should go after arranging for her to be looked after, or take her along on the journey.
