Which Comes First: A Daughter’s Marriage or Hajj? (An Adult Daughter at Home)

Question

There is an adult unmarried daughter at home, and the parents wish to go for Hajj. Is it better to marry off the adult daughter or to go for Hajj?

Answer

If Hajj is fard and arrangements for the daughter’s protection are also in place, then Hajj should not be delayed because of her marriage.
