Masturbation

Question

A man practises masturbation; he is not married and is an elderly man. Another man is already married and he too is afflicted with this curse. What is the ruling for him?

Answer

This act has been condemned in hadith. In some narrations a curse has been reported upon the one who does this act. For one who is already married and also has the opportunity of intercourse with his wife, this act is even more abominable.
