Zina with one’s brother’s wife

Question

A man forcibly had intercourse with his elder brother’s wife and said: “We two brothers will keep only you.” When this was mentioned among four people, the father said: “What of it? Between a husband’s younger brother and a brother’s wife this just happens.”

Answer

Zina (fornication) is haram. With a brother’s wife it is even more vile. And the reply of the husband’s father that “between a husband’s younger brother and a brother’s wife this just happens” is a reply of utmost shamelessness.
