Burning an effigy

Question

What is the ruling of the Shari‘a on making an effigy of some Muslim or non-Muslim, during a strike or outside one, taking it out in a procession through the whole area, and raising unspeakable (?) slogans?

Answer

Making an effigy and burning it is the practice of non-Muslims; avoiding it is wajib.
