Where the seven earths are

Question

Question: The seven earths and seven heavens mentioned in the Noble Qur’an are, according to the correct view, all separate from one another, and the distance from one to the next is the same as that from one heaven to the next. So where is that earth, and is it visible to us or not? (2) If the Shari‘a of Muhammad ﷺ could reach the inhabitants of these earths, would it be wajib for them to accept it or not? Is there any indication in the Holy Qur’an regarding these three things or not?

Answer

In the books of Ibn Kathir, Ibn Hajar, al-‘Ayni, al-Tha‘labi and others ﵏, hadiths and athar concerning the seven earths are mentioned in a certain number. However, it has not been possible to establish from them, in a preponderant and well-verified way, where they are and whether they are visible to us or not. (2) That revelation (wahy)
