Why there is no transformation (maskh) in this Umma

Question

Question: The forms of earlier nations used to be changed because of their evil deeds, but in the present age the forms of present-day people are not changing even when they commit evil deeds. What is the reason for this?

Answer

Out of honour and esteem for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, this Umma has been protected from general transformation (maskh ‘amm); but the noble hadith also informs that some effect of it will occur in this Umma.
