Is reaching the Moon any kind of achievement?

Question: These days the news is spreading widely that Jews and Christians have reached the Moon, so the Moon is below the heaven. Has the Holy Qur’an given news of this or not? Should we Muslims believe what they say? What is the ruling of the Shari‘a for us?

Answer

The heaven, the earth, the Moon, the Sun, the stars, clouds, wind, water, fire, ice, lightning, mountains, trees — in short, everything is created by Allah. Allah Most High has given man power. Let man benefit from these things in accordance with the power God has given him.
