The reason for the prohibition of swine

Question

Question: Why did the Exalted Creator (Bari Ta‘ala) declare the swine haram? It is mentioned in many places in the Holy Qur’an, but we have not been able to learn the explanation for it.

Answer

Allah Most High has the authority to declare haram whatever thing of His creation He wills. Countless things are haram; no one has the right to question. By no means pursue finding out the reason (‘illa).
