Burying the hair removed below the navel

Question

After removing the hair below the navel, should this hair also be buried, or put in some safe place, or not?

Answer

Burying it is better; putting it in a place where there is no impurity is also permissible. One should not throw it into a bathing room or a lavatory (“Tahtawi”, p. 227), nor throw it where anyone’s gaze may fall on it.
