Having the pubic hair removed by another person

Question

Question: An elderly man has fallen ill and has been ill for 6/7 months; he is completely bedridden, so that he does not even have the strength to move, and his wife also has weak eyesight. May his son clean his pubic hair with a razor or not?

Answer

Out of necessity it is permissible; he should guard as far as possible against touching and looking.
