How a blind person should remove pubic hair

Question: How is a blind person to clean the pubic hair? Can he clean it by means of soap or not?

Answer

Cleaning by means of soap is also correct. [ar]قال في الهندية: ويبتدئ من تحت السرة، ولو عالج بالنورة يجوز، كذا في الفتاوى[/ar] It is stated in al-Hindiyya: “He begins from below the navel; and if he uses nura (a lime-based depilatory), it is permissible. So it is in al-Fatawa” (“Radd al-Muhtar”, vol. 5, p. 261).
