Accepting the invitation of one who does not pay zakat

Question

Question: If a person does not pay zakat, is it permissible to accept that person’s invitation or to take money and clothes (from him), or not?

Answer

It is permissible, provided that he gives from halal wealth. But if some prominent person declines with the aim that the other, being affected by this, will pay the zakat, then that is better.
