Eating at an invitation before the estate is divided

Question

Question: Khalid departed from this world, leaving four children — two adults and two minors. Before Khalid’s estate is divided, is it permissible for religious scholars and other people to eat food etc. in Khalid’s house, or not?

Answer

It is impermissible. However, if the adults feed (people) from their own means or from their own share, it is permissible.
