The Garden of Fadak

Question

What was the garden of Fadak? Whose right was it? Who usurped it? Do tell us with fairness.

Answer

The very expression “garden of Fadak” tells that it was a garden. The maintenance expenses of the household (Ahl al-Bayt) of the Noble Prophet ﷺ and of his pure wives were met from it. Hazrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq ﵁ became its trustee (mutawalli)
