Displeasure over the Claim to the Garden of Fadak

Question

Hazrat Bibi Fatima ﵂ became displeased with Hazrat Abu Bakr ﵁ on account of not receiving the income of the garden of Fadak; did a conversation and reconciliation with Hazrat Abu Bakr ﵁ take place before her passing or not?

Answer

In Tuhfa Ithna ‘Ashariyya and in Fatawa ‘Azizi, Shah ‘Abd al-‘Aziz Muhaddith Dihlawi wrote that afterwards a reconciliation took place between them, and Bibi Fatima ﵂ said: “Now (having heard the hadith which states that inheritance does not apply to the estate of the prophets, but that it is sadaqa) I am not displeased with you.
