Does Shaytan Also Enter the Grave with Munkar and Nakir?

Question

When the deceased has been placed in the grave and they have finished covering him with earth, does Shaytan enter the grave first, or Munkar and Nakir, or do both arrive at the same time? And who then puts his question to the deceased first? Or is it that the Nakirayn (the two angels) ask the question of the truth, while Shaytan wants to set his trap — that is, so that the deceased cannot give the angels the correct answer? And does Shaytan enter the grave of an adult, or of a minor as well?

Answer

I have not seen in any hadith that Shaytan enters the grave of the deceased and sets his trap at the moment of the Nakirayn’s questioning. On the face of it, it appears that now he no longer exerts on the deceased such influence that the deceased could not answer: the time for his efforts has ended, his licence has become void.
