The Soul Will Be Put into the Body in the Grave

Question

[ar]رَبَّنَآ أَمَتَّنَا ٱثْنَتَيْنِ وَأَحْيَيْتَنَا ٱثْنَتَيْنِ فَٱعْتَرَفْنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلْ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجٍ مِّن سَبِيلٍ[/ar] “O Lord, You gave us death twice and gave us life twice; we confess our sins — is there any way to get out of Hell?” (Surah Ghafir, 40:11). From the meaning of this verse it appears that man will be given only two deaths and two lives. As for the soul being put into the body of the dead in the grave — that would be a third life, and there is no mention of it in the Qur’an.

Answer

It is found in a noble hadith that the soul will be put into the dead person in the grave.
