The Prophet’s ﷺ Coming to the Assembly of Hazrat Ghawth al-A‘zam

Question

The book “al-Fath al-Rabbani” consists of the excellent sermons of Sayyiduna ‘Abd al-Qadir Jilani ﵀; but in the preface the late Hazrat Mawlana ‘Ashiq Ilahi writes: in his gathering of preaching, besides the righteous and the angels, the pure souls of the prophets ﵈ used to participate spiritually, and sometimes the blessed soul of the Master of the Children of Adam ﷺ would also descend in majesty for the purpose of training and support.

Answer

The difference between the two passages is perfectly clear and evident. The upshot of Hazrat Mawlana ‘Ashiq Ilahi’s statement is that this coming is for support and training; the upshot of “Hada’iq-e Bakhshish” is that the coming is for deriving benefit (istifada).
