Entitlement to Salary on Resigning after the Long Vacation

Question

If, after teaching the whole year, a person wishes to resign during the Ramadan vacation, is he entitled under the Shari‘a to the salary for Ramadan or not? If not, is there any way of becoming entitled?

Answer

Here the rule is that entitlement to the Ramadan salary (in the case of its being a vacation) exists when one reports and works upon the opening of the madrasa in Shawwal; otherwise there is no entitlement. If the rule there is also this, then the ruling too will be the same.
