If a Madrasa’s Money Is Spent Carelessly, a Committee Should Be Formed

Question

In the madrasa there is no law of any kind, nor has any constitution been drawn up. Whatever the director utters at any moment, that is the constitution. Whenever he wishes, he deducts salary without notice. He dismisses teachers from service without cause. How is this conduct of his?

Answer

A committee of well-meaning and upright people should be formed, and some respected, learned, God-fearing and experienced person should be appointed as patron, so that the accounts are kept properly and the money of each head is spent under that same head; and, keeping before them the constitution of some large madrasa (for example, Dar al-‘Ulum Deoband)
