Land Given to a Mosque with an Instruction to Later Build an Eidgah on It
Question
A person endowed a small piece of land as waqf to a mosque, saying: “Later on, build an Eidgah (a ground for the Eid prayer) on this land.” Is endowing in this manner valid or not?
Answer
If the land was endowed in such a way that, for example, there is a crop on it at present whose income is to be given to such-and-such a mosque, and then, once the crop is harvested, an Eidgah is to be built here, then this is valid.
