Preventing a Polytheist from Coming to the Mosque

Question

A polytheist (mushrik) regularly comes to our mosque, and sometimes even joins in the prayer, and he says that one day he saw in a dream someone calling the adhan. Is such a person permitted to come to the mosque and join in the prayer?

Answer

It is better that he be given the address of some pious scholar, or be taken there, so that he may understand the matter fully and the true beauty of Islam may become apparent to him; and until that opportunity arises, do not prevent him from coming to the mosque.
