The Way to the Bathhouse Passing Through the Mosque

Question

To get to the bathhouse, one has to walk across the floor of the mosque, and this practice has been in place since long ago. What is the ruling on this?

Answer

If there is no way to the bathhouse other than passing through the mosque, then the person in a state of ritual impurity should perform tayammum and go there; and an effort should be made to build the way on some other side.
