A Non-Muslim Entering the Mosque

Question

If a non-Muslim man or woman enters the mosque and it is not known whether they are impure or pure, is such entry permissible or not, and is there any sin upon the people of the mosque?

Answer

As long as there is no knowledge of impurity and there is no other harm or corruption (mafsada), it is permitted; there will be no sin upon the people of the mosque.
