Trading in the Mosque

Question

Is it permissible or not to conduct business inside the mosque, or to trade by setting up a shop?

Answer

The place that has been made waqf for prayer — to designate it for business, trade and the like, and to trade there, is by no means whatsoever permissible. As for a place that is not for prayer and is made waqf for the interests (masalih)
