Selling a tree belonging to the mosque inside the mosque

Question

An Indian rosewood tree belongs to the mosque itself. Is it permissible to buy and sell it where the prayer is performed?

Answer

Since mosques are designated for prayer and congregation, it is not correct to buy and sell there; it should be done apart, even though the tree belongs to the mosque itself.
