Other Announcements over the Mosque Microphone

Question

Question: (1) In a chamber of the mosque, outside the bounds of the mosque, there is a microphone for the adhan. Some people come and have it announced: “Our child has gone missing, announce it.” Is this permissible? And may some compensation be taken from them and deposited with the mosque? (2) Or may it be announced that such-and-such a person has passed away and the funeral prayer will be held at such-and-such a place at such-and-such a time — is this permissible?

Answer

(1, 2) Other announcements should not be made over the microphone that is designated for the adhan — neither for compensation nor without compensation.
