The Noble Hadith over the Mosque Loudspeaker

Question

(What is the ruling on) expounding the noble hadith over the loudspeaker in the morning so that people learn matters of religion and their eagerness for prayer and fasting increases — especially women, who stay at home — so that these rulings become known to them?

Answer

There is this benefit in it too; but many people remain engaged in their own occupations and do not even turn their attention to it; moreover, they themselves become deprived of seeking (knowledge) and of eagerness, since the voice reaches them while they sit at home.
