Reciting Hamd and Na‘t over the Mosque Loudspeaker in Addition to the Adhan

Question

In the neighbourhood of Hasnu Katra in Faizabad there is a mosque in which all the people of the neighbourhood perform the prayer in congregation. In the mosque the adhan is given through a loudspeaker, and after the prayer many people often also recite hamd (praise of Allah) and na‘t (praise of the Prophet ﷺ) poetry.

Answer

This neighbour should be told: “We had received exactly such news; if this news is false, and you did not complain nor have anyone complain, then in this matter our hearts are clear towards you.” Now let this matter be ended: do not take an oath from him, nor abandon greeting and speaking with him; rather treat him with good character and affection.
