Mosques Are Not for Political Gatherings

Question

(1) Are these mosques for gatherings? Is it permissible to collect donations by spreading false propaganda, stating untrue things, through deceit and cunning? Are these mosques not for religious preaching (waʿz)? (2) What of the one who prevents preaching and dhikr in the mosque, and what of the one who permits and organizes political gatherings, and what is the ruling on him?
