Holding a Consultation While Sitting in the Mosque
Question
I humbly ask: may a few people, sitting in the mosque, consult about matters of the mosque or not?
Answer
They may sit and consult without noise and clamour, in such a way that the etiquette of the mosque is observed and no one’s prayer is disturbed. Consulting about the needs of the mosque — for example, the appointment of the imam, fixing the prayer times and the like — is not worldly talk.
