Talking in the Mosque During the Adhan
Question
The meaning of two hadiths is that by talking at the time of the adhan there is fear of losing one’s faith (iman), and that by worldly talk in the mosque the good deeds of forty years are lost. Now the question is that most often in the bazaars, or while coming for the prayer, or at the time of the adhan, people carry out transactions or talk; if someone remains silent, it will be extremely difficult for him. What should be done on such occasions?
Answer
In which hadith is there the fear of losing faith by talking at the time of the adhan? I do not remember that hadith; if you write it, it may be looked into. Sitting in the mosque to engage in worldly talk is forbidden.
