Laying Coverings on a Public Road from the Mosque’s Income on the Two Eids and Friday

Question

On the occasion of Jumuʿat al-Widaʿ (the farewell Friday of Ramadan) and the two Eids, the inner part, the courtyard and the space on the roof fill up, and outside the mosque, to the east, north and south, there is a paved government road on which people form rows and perform the prayer. For this, awnings are hired and floor-runners are spread from the income of the Congregational Mosque, which costs five hundred rupees annually.

Answer

This arrangement too is for the worshippers of this same mosque, so there is no harm in it.
