Money Left Over from Building a Mosque — for a Religious Madrasa
Question
Of the money that is collected for building a mosque, may the leftover amount be put into building religious madrasas, or may some building be constructed for the income of the jamaʿat (community)?
Answer
If there is no need (for it) in the mosque — neither now nor in the future — then let them give it to a religious madrasa in accordance with the permission of the people who gave the money.
