A Prostitute Having a Tin Roof Put Up in a Mosque
Question
A piece of land was endowed as a waqf in the name of the shrine of a saintly man. Since that land is right by the road and there is also a well on it, a man, feeling the need, had a platform, a wall of a man’s height and a mihrab in it built on that land for those who pray. This man did not have much means to arrange shade as well, and praying was difficult in sun and rain.
Answer
Prayer has not become prohibited because of this, especially since the tin roof was put up by another man with permissible money, and he then took the money from the prostitute; although it is impermissible for that man to take money from the prostitute when he definitely knows that this money is haram.
