Prayer in a Mosque Built by a Courtesan

Question

If a courtesan, or an effeminate man, or the like has a mosque built, is it permissible for a traveller to pray in that mosque or not? And if there is no other mosque in that neighbourhood, may the residents of the neighbourhood also pray in that mosque or not?

Answer

It is makruh.
