Hazrat Hamza — the Prophet's Foster-Brother

Question

A certain book states that Hazrat Hamza was the milk-brother of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and that on this basis a girl called him “uncle”. The name of the book is “Islam”, Part Three, p. 292. Kindly give a clear explanation of this.

Answer

Hazrat Hamza ﵁ was both the paternal uncle of the noble Prophet ﷺ and his foster-brother (milk-brother) at the same time. And the incident mentioned is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari.
