Was the Prophet's Age Ninety Years?

Question

In the book “Khulasat al-Anbiya”, the translation of “Qisas al-Anbiya” by Mawlawi Ghulam Nabi, the blessed age of the Prophet ﷺ is given as ninety years, of which sixty-three years were his Meccan-Medinan life, and twenty-seven years are stated as the “life of the Mi‘raj”. Yet a study of other books of fiqh and hadith shows that the noble Mi‘raj of the Prophet ﷺ took place in a single night only. What, then, is meant by “twenty-seven years” passing in the Mi‘raj?

Answer

Stating that the blessed age of the Prophet ﷺ was 90 years is incorrect; the “age of the Mi‘raj” is not 27 years — it took place very swiftly, within part of a single night; no 27 years were spent in it.
