Drops after Urination

Question

A certain person has a urinary illness: after istinja' drops keep coming for some time. A religious scholar told him: perform istinja' half an hour before the prayer, then change your waist-cloth, put on another one and pray. If this ruling of the religious scholar is correct, then, because of the drops that have now come, should he wash the organ again or not, or should he only change the waist-cloth and pray?

Answer

If that person is a ma'dhur according to the Shari'a, he now has no need to wash the organ again, and changing the waist-cloth is not wajib either; it is merely to reduce the impurity. If he is not a ma'dhur according to the Shari'a, then he must wash the organ, and repeating the wudu is also obligatory; merely changing the waist-cloth is not sufficient.
