Prayer in an impure or doubtful waist-wrap

Question

If, beneath a pure waist-wrap, there is an impure or a doubtful waist-wrap and one prays, what is the ruling in these cases?

Answer

Purifying it is necessary: without removing it, the prayer will not be valid. And the doubtful one should also be removed: [ar]دع ما يريبك إلى ما لا يريبك[/ar] “Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt.”
