The time when the najasa got on the clothes is unknown

Question

Najasa was seen on a garment, but the time it got there is not known. From when will the garment be considered impure?

Answer

If that najasa is mani, the garment will be considered impure from the time he woke up from sleep. If it is his faeces or urine, it will be impure from the time he relieved himself. If it is some other najasa, then from the time it was seen.
