Does Impure Clothing Become Pure by Washing It Three Times?

Question

An impure garment was washed and, without being wrung out, hung in the sun; then it dried. This was done three times. Will the garment become pure or not? Also, how hard should a garment be wrung?

Answer

By doing this three times, too, the garment will become pure. As for wringing, what counts is one's own strength; a person is not charged with more than that.
