Baking Bread over Dung Cakes
Question
In the villages bread is baked over dung cakes, and the bread also touches the dung cakes. Does the bread become impure?
Answer
If the bread touches a dung cake while being baked, it will not become impure: the dung cake is dry, its trace has not passed onto the bread, and the moisture of the bread has not absorbed its impurity — the heat of the fire prevented this.
