Does Grain Become Impure during Threshing?

Question

If, at the time of threshing grain — that is, when oxen are driven over it — an ox urinates on the grain, will the grain become impure, or what is the ruling?

Answer

It will become impure; but if the partners divide it among themselves, or give some of it in charity (sadaqa), or purify some of it, or sell some of it, the remainder will be regarded as pure.
