Tube-Well Water Is Flowing Water

Question

Nowadays tube wells are operating in the countryside: the water, passing through channels two feet wide, has been let out by the government to the fields for miles. Is this flowing water (ma' jari) or not?

Answer

This is in reality flowing water (thus in al-Durr al-Mukhtar).
