Ghusl and the Like in a Pond of Ten Bighas

Question

Here every pond is about ten bighas (a local unit of land area), and the depth of the water is ten cubits. Before '47 only one or two Hindus, and all the rest Muslims, washed clothes and bathed [in them], but now all the Hindus bathe and wash clothes [there]. The question is: can ghusl be performed in it or not? And can clothes be purified [in it] or not?

Answer

Performing ghusl in this pond and washing clothes [in it] is correct. Do not have any doubt.
