Ruku‘ and Sajda Immediately After Reciting the Verse of Prostration

Question

Last blessed Ramadan, during tarawih, instead of performing sajda al-tilawa at the 50th verse of Surah al-Nahl, which ends with “yu’marun” (يُؤْمَرُونَ), the respected hafiz performed sajda al-tilawa one verse before it, i.e. at the 49th verse, which ends with “la yastakbirun” (لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ); then, returning to qiyam, he recited the 50th verse and performed ruku‘ at “yu’marun”. Please tell us: has the sajda al-tilawa been performed or not?

Answer

Performing ruku‘ immediately after reciting the verse of prostration, followed by the prostration of the prayer, also discharges the sajda al-tilawa.
