The ruling on nafl after witr

Question

As for the last nafl prayer in the ‘Isha’ [prayer], is there more reward in praying it standing or seated?

Answer

For praying nafl seated one receives half of the reward that one receives for praying nafl standing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out this rule for the umma and did not exempt from it the nafl asked about; therefore this same rule applies to them as well.
